Ouzin is one of the brothers of the Diop family from Dakar, Senegal. He is masterdrummer and plays sabar, djembé, doundouns, bougarabou, serouba, tama and krin.
He worked and toured with the groups Ballet Famboli (lead djembé), Pinthebi (all instruments) and Sing Sing Juniors (sabar).
Apart from being a great musician he is also a very talented instrument builder. When Ouzin repairs the skin of a sabar or djembé it sounds better then before, with the high pitch that gives that energy in the Senegalese drum music.
